David Desrosiers

David Philippe Desrosiers (born 29 August 1980) is a French Canadian musician, who is best known as the bassist and backing vocalist for pop punk band Simple Plan. He grew up in Matane, Quebec, Canada.
He has been known to briefly play the drums or guitar during shows for Simple Plan as well as for many of his favorite bands such as The Used, Vendetta Red, Green Day (he has two bass guitars with the American Idiot heart grenade), Good Charlotte, and MxPx. David has developed into almost a co-frontman as dialogue between him and lead singer Pierre Bouvier enlivens the show. He guest-starred on Season 3 of The Naked Brothers Band, episode 7, Naked Idol, Part 2.

Pierre Bouvier

Pierre Charles Bouvier (born 9 May 1979) is a Canadian musician, who is best known as the lead singer for pop punk band Simple Plan.
Before and partly during his musical career, Bouvier worked as a cook in a restaurant in his country of Canada. At age of 13, he founded the punk rock band Reset with his schoolmate Chuck Comeau, JS Boileau and Jeff Stinco, in which he was the lead singer and guitarist. Boileau left the band to pursue an academic training (he is a vet. today). Philippe Jolicoeur quickly replaced Stinco as lead guitarist. Bouvier singing and playing bass, and apparently not fully enjoying his life with Reset, left the band behind. Bouvier met up with old school pal Jeff Stinco at a Reset concert he was attending. Bouvier and Stinco were then talked into joining Simple Plan, by Chuck Comeau, whom had parted with Reset earlier to be replaced by Adrian White. Stinco agreed and they were joined later by Sebastien Lefebvre.

simple planBulan ini (Februari) di tahun 2008 Grup band asal Kanada Simple Plan merilis sebuah self-titled album baru, Simple Plan. Saya pertama juga kaget, ternyata sudah keluar albumnya, soalnya tidak terdengar kabar sebelumnya bahwa simple plan sedang menggarap album baru (emang saya nya aja yang gak ngikutin perkembangan :P ). Eh gak taunya di forum (Rileks) udah di release aja :P

Sepintas mendengarkan album baru dari simple plan ini saya melihat sedikit perubahan dalam warnanya musiknya, lebih cenderung ke arah pop. Dan saya menyatakan bahwa album ini biasa – biasa saja, alias “nothing special” . Kalo diberi skala nilai yah 7/10.
